Author Biography

Katja Neumann, University of Stirling

Katja Neumann is a PhD student in religious studies at the University of Stirling, Stirling, Scotland. Her thesis centres on the prayer-poetry of the late German theologian Dorothee Sölle (1929–2003) with regard to understanding the connection posed by the form chosen for prayer—poetry—and its theological implications. She writes, “I gratefully acknowledge the funding received for both projects by the Arts and Humanities Research Council without which I could not have pursued these studies with the dedication I feel for my work.â€
