- Dr. Williamson's research focuses on representations of mobility, technologies of travel, and the history of cartography in early modern England. She serves as the coordinator for the public humanities Christian Culture Lecture series, and she organized the Saint Mary’s research symposium from its inaugural year to 2019. Her recent work in the public and digital humanities has been funded through two separate projects including the multi-campus, interdisciplinary OpenSource textbook initiative, LibreText and the global displacement archive project.
