Covid-19 Oral Histories

This long-term project—conducted primarily by Dr. Julia Dauer and Dr. Jamie Wagman in conjunction with Indiana University South Bend's Civil Rights Heritage Center—worked to digitze emerging experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic in the South Bend region. Different portions of the project were made possible by various generous grants. The Indiana Humanities American Rescue Plan Programming Grant funded "Pandemic Narratives: Reflecting on COVID-19 in Literature & History", and the Council of Independent Colleges Humanities Research for the Public Good Sustaining Grant supported "Doing History in South Bend: Conducting Pandemic Oral Histories and Curating a Listening Session."
