The text has underlining and faint marginal notes, indicating that it was well-used by a prior owner. Unfortunately, it also attained library markings when it was acquired by the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries Elkhart Library in 1962 for the princely sum of $15.25. It was printed in Cologne by classical and humanistic printer Johannes Soter (ps. of Johannes Heyl), with evidence such as the use of the five-pointed star in title page decoration. These two paraphrases have been bound together, indicating perhaps that the works were used together.
