“I purchased these fabrics and the pattern
when I attended the Sisters Annual Quilt Show,
Sisters, Oregon. This was a dream fulfilled of
mine, after I heard about the Sisters show held
every July. Sisters is a small town at the foot
of the ‘Three Sisters’ mountains. US Highway 20
runs through town and the road is closed to traffic.
Quilts are hung on the exteriors of all the stores in
town. Thousands of people attend, and my quilter
niece and I were able to go there in 2018.” -- Fanni Birky
