The welcome year of the Lord

Dorothy Jean Weaver is Professor of New Testament at Eastern Mennonite Seminary, Harrisonburg, Va. She leads regular tours to the Middle East for EMS (“Places, People, & Prayersâ€) and serves on the Steering Committee of Christian Peacemaker Teams. Her publications include Matthew’s Missionary Discourse: A Literary Critical Analysis (Sheffield Academic Pr., Ltd., 1990) and Bread for the Enemy: A Peace and Justice Lectionary (Mennonite Church Peace and Justice Committee, 2001). Dorothy Jean is a member of the Shenandoah Valley Choral Society and sings regularly with the Festival Choir at the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival.
